[MCL-20581] I cannot open the Minecraft launcher.

I have downloaded and installed the new Minecraft Launcher, but it won't start. In addition it seems in my Mojang account that it is not registered that I already have bought the Minecraft Java Edition. Is there any way this problem could be resolved- or what steps can I take to solve this problem?

I think we have discovered the problem with Minecraft. The first edition we bought was Microsoft Minecraft. We found soon that we wanted the Java Edition instead, and got the Microsoft Edition refunded. I wonder if this influences when we now try to open our migrated version of Java Minecraft.
