Minecraft get forced on foreground when using another app while it is loading

This is a problem that occured to me very often and it is driving me mad. When I start minecraft, it sometimes gets minecraft on foreground, and there is no way to minimize the window. When I reproduced it in the video, you can see that I needed to quit the game to stop recording. That doesn't make sense. I don't know if it is caused by the launcher or the game itself, but it happens the Windows launcher and the new windows app launcher on every single version of the game.

This bug is even more serious if your game does not respond. Normally if the game does not respond, you can quit it using task manager. If the game is forced on foreground, you can't use task manager because it is constantly going pulling it away. So then the only way would be to restart your computer.

How to reproduce.

Note that this is only applied when minecraft is already set to fullscreen.

  1. Open the launcher

  2. Click to start minecraft

  3. While the game is starting, minimize the launcher and interact with another window.

This might be impossible to fix because it also happens to other programs.

It seems like it has been fixed. But there was not any launcher update when it has been fixed. So it might be a bug from somewhere else that has now been fixed.

I actually was wrong. It is more unlikely to occure. But it happened when I clicked on the background while the window was open and didn't get to fullscreen yet.

I'm now using Windows 11. It doesn't happen again, but I got the feeling that it might ever appear again later. It may be a bug that is on Windows 10, but on other programs this bug is more likely to occure on Windows 11. So if a moderator notice this report, I think he can mark it as being fixed and give it to Windows when it occures again.

I've found the way to reproduce it. It doesn't happen when I click the laucher that I set to left open. But it does happen when I put another window in front.

@unknown Please, attach video of the reproduction steps or/and write down step by step a way to reproduce the issue.

I reproduced the bug again, but had to turn the video quality down because the original file was too big. I also deleted the old video so it doesn't get confusing.

Update: not yet fixed. I discovered that clicking the window will unfreeze it. So I don't think this bug needs much attention
