When I load the launcher the play button keeps buffering and never stops buffering. This has been happening ever since the update where java players got bedrock for free.

If you own Java and are having trouble installing Bedrock (seeing Install button grey out when you click it):
1) Cancel/Stop installation; this is crucial. You may not be able to cancel from the Launcher - if so, open up the MS Store app and go to "Library" to see active installs/downloads and cancel there.
2) Ensure installation target is C drive on PC. You can do this within the Launcher or by going directly to the Microsoft Store.
3) Re-try triggering installation from either from Launcher or from Microsoft Store/xbox app.
