I can't install any edition of minecraft from the launcher and it wants me to buy it again from the microsoft store

I can't install bedrock or java from the launcher. I clicked the install and it just says idle at the bottom of the screen. i clicked the play button but it still didn't download. Also i can't get java or bedrock on my pc from the microsoft store. it wants me to buy it again even though i already have bedrock on my nintendo switch. i am signed in with my microsoft account on my switch and for the microsoft store.
