Possibly just a feature request? Dev Console error not giving any indication to logged in user, with valid updated version. Launcher 1.3.8

The fact that I was on launcher 1.3.8 may just be the reason for this, I have now updated to 1.3.10.

I just tried to start Minecraft after not having logged on for a couple of weeks. I clicked "Play" and nothing happened. Clicked again, same. Didn't think anything was wrong as Launcher said:

Checked the dev console and saw the following error:

Just think it would have been handy if this error propagated on the front in some way, so that I know I need to restart the launcher. Not really a biggie, but just thought this might help.
