'Soothing scene' video/audio will abruptly end when returning to the "Play" tab

What happens:
When the 'soothing scene' video is playing in the Minecraft launcher "play" tab, going to another tab such as "installations" will keep the audio running as expected, but returning to the play tab will abruptly end the audio and video and set it back to the default picture.

What I expected:
The audio staying on while in other tabs seems good/works as intended, but I expected the audio and video to continue when returning to the play tab.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the Minecraft Launcher to Java Edition

2. Click the play button in the upper right corner to swap from the image to the 'soothing scene video' (cherry blossom animation for 1.20)

3. Click the audio button in the lower right to turn on the background music

4. Go to a different tab at the top (installations, skins, patch notes), noting the audio is still playing.

5. Return to the play tab, and note the ended audio and video, with it returning to the default picture.
