Rosetta still required on Apple Silicon Macs in 2024

Please provide a Universal app for this link:
https://launcher.mojang.com/download/Minecraft.dmg?ref=mcnet

It still sadly requires Rosetta which is a legacy layer for outdated apps.

I can't install Rosetta on my M1 Pro MacBook only because of your legacy launcher. Please consider updating your app build process. It should be easy for any programmer in 2024.

Just read the docs:
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/apple-silicon/building-a-universal-macos-binary

ALL my other apps are running natively. Again, it's 2024 and there is no excuse for providing intel-only binaries.

Thank you!

Does MCL-22108 describe your issue?

Yes, but it was ignored for one and half year and the fix is 10 minutes work for any Mojang programmer.

The only response was "Isn't Rosetta 2 needed necessary to run some applications on certain Mac's (not only Minecraft)." which doesn't make any sense because Rosetta 2 is for very old programs that are no longer maintained (abandoned legacy software with missing source code or developers no longer alive). For a maintained program like Minecraft Launcher it's just a few clicks to enable Universal build which would allow Minecraft Launcher to run natively on both intel and m1 Macs.
