The new launcher update contains looping animations that cannot be disabled

(Actually affects 2.24.17 Win10/11 + Legacy, but those versions don't appear in the dropdown as of yet.)

I need to disable any looping animations in software because they cause me anxiety issues when I see them looping over and over and over and over and over and over (you get it, just thinking of it makes me cold sweat).

The most recent update to the launcher has introduced a looping animation that cannot be disabled (neither of the two settings related to animations affect this), which is not great for me.
