Selected avatar never saves

I have made a custom skin for my avatar, each time I leave the game/ log out I have to re-select my avatar. First I have to go into the “dressing room” then I have to press “change classic skin”. My selected avatar is never saved and a random one from the catalog is chosen. This is rather annoying as it sometimes takes a long time to load, and it is annoying to have to do every time I play. I have had this issue for several versions (currently v1.21.62 on bedrock).
