I just tried playing minecraft, even though it worked 10 minutes ago and nothing changed, It tells me that an unexpected issue occurred and doesnt let me get into the launcher.
Here is the error i get:
”Whoops!
An unexpected issue occurred, we are sorry for the inconvenience. Please try restarting your launcher. If that does not resolve the issue, please log a bug report here.”
I tried restarting the launcher and rebooting my PC. I use the launcher for other distros (the executable that you just need to download and double click), not the one from the AUR.

Ah hope they fix it Can you please up vote MCL-25203 its a big problem for me.
Does deleting ~/.minecraft/webcache2 help?

I’ve had a similar issue, for me the solution was removing ~/.minecraft/webcache2
