I'm having trouble accessing Minecraft. A friend of mine bought the game through Nuuvem and gave me the access keys. I redeemed them on my Microsoft account, which is the same email I used to send this report.

Ever since I redeemed the game (it's been several days now), I haven't been able to play. I open the Minecraft Launcher, and it stays on "Launching the game..." for more than 5 minutes, and then it just shows an error saying "Couldn't update the Minecraft native launcher."

I’ve tried every possible tutorial to fix this issue: downloading Minecraft from http://minecraft.net , uninstalling the Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store, restoring and repairing it, uninstalling and reinstalling Xbox Game Services via PowerShell, changing Xbox services to manual/automatic, etc.

I’ve tried MANY things, and nothing worked. That’s why I really hope you can fix this problem for me.

Plus: I have two prints of this problem, but I don’t know how to insert here, but is literally what I typed. Sorry for any errors, English is not my native language.

hey José,

i think i have the same issue as you, a temporary fix i have is to run the launcher as administrator (right klick the launcher on your desktop and “run as administrator”) now i don’t like that i have to do this every time i try to launch the launcher so that’s why i made a account on this forum to raise the issue.
