Every time I enter into the launcher, the default skin is selected instead of mine, I then select my skin and enter the game to find out my skin in game resets to Alex’s skin.

Can you also please log in to your profile on minecraft.net and see if the changes occur on there?
Do you maybe have modified Launcher? any add ons?
