Not sure about the “Affect versions” info (couldn’t find a version info anywhere, the launcher is freshly downloaded from the official Microsoft page). Since there are errors with dependencies in the Debian-specific version (already reported inMCL-25152 ), I tried the ‘generic’ one.
It downloads an update and then hangs.
Killing it and restarting doesn’t change anything. Sometimes, if I wait a couple of seconds and press ^C, it opens the update window and seems to download something more, but at the end it closes the update window and nothing else appears.
I also tried running “./minecraft-launcher --disableGPU” but it doesn’t change anything. The only thing that appears in console is:
