The Minecraft Launcher taskbar icon appears as a default system file icon or is completely invisible on the Windows Taskbar when the launcher is installed but no license is yet associated with the account. This has been tested and reproduced on multiple hardware configurations.
Steps to Reproduce:
Download and install the official Minecraft Launcher on a fresh Windows installation.Launch the application without logging into an account that owns the game (or before purchasing).Observe the application icon on the Windows Taskbar.
Observed Results: The Taskbar shows a blank/default icon instead of the official Minecraft grass block logo.
Expected Results: The Taskbar should consistently display the Minecraft Launcher icon regardless of the account's purchase status
Environment
Operating System: Windows 11 (Latest Build) CPU: Intel Core i7-8th Generation GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Java Version: Java 21 (Adoptium/Oracle) Launcher Version: [v.3.27.19-2.5.2] Additional Note: Issue reproduced on multiple devices with different hardware configurations
