Linux minecraft-launcher crashes on launch

I downloaded the “Official Minecraft Launcher” from the Arch User Repository and installed it on Arch-based CachyOS. According to the package manager, the exact package is minecraft-launcher 1:2.1.3-3
I was able to launch the launcher once and it appeared to be working fine. But every subsequent launch from the terminal appears as follows:

 minecraft-launcher
sh: line 1: orca: command not found
Created browser window for reuse: 0x1200004
[4488:4596:0218/125012.009043:ERROR:ffmpeg_common.cc(965)] Unsupported pixel format: -1

While this goes on in the terminal, the launcher appears on-screen and appears and displays “loading” while a video plays in the background. After a few seconds of that, the launcher hangs and reads:

“Whoops! An unexpected issue occurred; we are sorry for the inconvenience. Please try restarting your Launcher. If that does not resolve the issue, please log your bug report HERE”

It might be worth noting that during my first (and only) successful launch of the launcher, I disabled video auto-play, so the fact that a video is playing is a little suspect. I’ve tried the --disable GPU argument to no effect. I’m attaching the output of --debugGPU.

Environment

Linux, Arch-based CachyOS
