When I try to add a new skin to the Launcher, it simply returns “Something went wrong” while saving (attachment 2), without even rendering the default skin. It can’t duplicate the skin I’m using, it won't render in the menu and it won’t appear on the list (attachment 1), and I was only able to add this skin by doing it in Minecraft’s website. It renders without issue in game, only in the Launcher that it doesn’t.
I am connected to the internet, using the original Launcher (version 3.27.46-2.5.2), and in Vanilla (unmodded) Minecraft. This has been going on for a couple of months. Even after clicking “Use” in skin that loads, it won’t render in the menu, and won’t allow me to edit and save it. I have no idea if it’s just my Launcher having issues.
Steps:
Opening the Minecraft Launcher in Windows 10.
Selecting the “Skins” tab in Java Edition, and either trying to Add, Edit, Change, or even see the skins (as seen in the attachments), the only skins that appear are the ones I had saved long ago.
