Launcher can't conncect to the internet despite a valid internet connection to my PC

The minecraft launcher can’t find my internet connection on my PC. It just returns an error. “We were unable to verify what products you own. Please check your internet connection.“ The thing is I am on a stable internet connection and it seems like the launcher is refusing to recognise my connection. I have also tested other applications and they are working just fine so it’s only the minecraft launcher that has this problem

It was happened to me too. So it’s indeed a bug and not an issue from my computer.

This has happened to me too. My roommate managed to connect to Minecraft and launch it fine on his computer on the same wifi. I am running other games fine. Has anyone else managed to troubleshoot this?

I have managed to sort this problem. I think the problem starts with the Microsoft Store “declining” your internet. I managed to get it to work on my laptop and it magically fixed the problem on my PC

This is happening to me as well. It started yesterday.

For an unknown reason this issue was fixed on my pc a few days ago without me doing anything.

Just a quick restart should work

I tried restarting my computer and the launcher a couple of times, but the error persisted.

I updated windows, that fixed the problem 🥲
