[MCL-26545] Launcher fails to launch after most recent update

first things first, i don’t know which version of the launcher i have - it doesnt open so have no idea how to check. it shows 2.5.2.0 if i access it through the xbox app, but that doesn’t appear to be an option.

the issue i am experiencing is the launcher’s failure to launch - it gives out a Whoops error that appears to be unresolvable.

It's because of the new update. If you manage to get into the game on the main page, then before you start the game, turn off cute mode and the game will start for you every time. I had the same problem.
