[MCL-2679] Minecraft launcher not connecting to the internet

eventhough my laptop is connected to the internet it still wont connect to it

The message says clearly "Check your proxy settings".

I still cant connect to internet but yesterday my internet connection was just fine. but after i powered off my pc and woke up i couldnt connect to internet.

I am on version 16.3
