[MCL-26824] Unable to launch Java edition with family account that has access to my Gamepass subscription

As the title states, I have a PC Gamepass subscription that is shared with family members. When those family members log into their account in the launcher, Minecraft Java Edition does not give the option to play. This does not occur with the Bedrock edition. Please fix. Thank you.

Note: The actual version of the launcher is b.3.37.2-2.6.2 (this option was not available to select in the form)

I assume that game pass only let you play bedrock and you must purchase Java ed seperately. And for your info this is bug tracker page and not help center.

You assume, yet Java edition shows that it is available under gamepass. It even lets you download it from the Xbox app (but you can’t start it without using the launcher).

Even the Xbox website shows that Java edition is included as part of PC gamepass.
