[MCL-3557] Launcher showing only grey screen due to Windows 7 theme

When I Start up the minecraft launcher, I am presented with a grey screen. The login window never shows up, it just stays on the grey screen. I have been playing the game for over 4 years now, I know it is not an issue with my computer or minecraft. I have no mods installed.

I did. I've tried both versions, the .msi and the .exe.

Please attach the complete output of the "Launcher Log" which can be found on the second tab of the launcher.

I cannot, becuase the launcher is empty.

Ive had the same problem but on I'm running windows 10 not windows 7, how do you fix the problem?

Having this same issue. I think it might have to do with the computer hardware, actually a specific spec of laptop. i7-2670QM with an NVS 4200M from Nvidia.

how do you fix it please ive had the issue for a month bought minecraft twice 😞
