[MCL-4058] Unable to launch after switching OS X User, running from dmg, drag and drop

After the last launcher's update everything is working fine but not when I switch user on the Mac and try to launch Minecraft again. The message I get then is "Unable to start Minecraft, if you are running from a dmg, please drag to Applications and try again"

Should be re-opened. As of this posting it's not resolved. (Re-installed Minecraft and any user switch causes the old odd message to come up. Only way to fix I've found is to reinstall Minecraft.

I installed latest Minecraft 1.8.8 for Mac OS but have same issue.
I concur with Max, this issue still exists.
Kumasasa said it was resolved, if so in what version or patch do we see the resolution?

The duplicated ticket MCL-4011 is still open and not resolved.

Thanks, Kumasasa. I guess the problem remains and is as yet unsolved but this particular ticket is closed as "Resolved" because the duplicate has been "Reopened", right?

This is still an issue. Why? With every user switch I have to reinstall. With several users this has to be done several times a day. Please solve this problem!
