New launcher can not launch Minecraft client (v0.9)

I'm having a problem where when I click the play button to launch Minecraft, it doesn't launch. In the dev console, after the close launcher message, it says:

Client> Error: Could not find or load main class and
Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)
Deleting C:\...\Application Data\.minecraft\versions\13w23b\13w23b-natives-1378527611003

I was playing literally 5 minutes before this started happening. What I think happened is between me playing and restarting Minecraft, the launcher updated and is no longer working.

And now for the silly form =P:

What I expected to happen was...:
I click the play button and Minecraft loads

What actually happened was...:
Minecraft doesn't load

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch the launcher
2. Log in/select any snapshot
3. Click play

Things I've tried to fix it:
Try another snapshot not installed yet.
Delete/re-install the latest snapshot
Delete/re-install the launcher
Use an old version of the launcher (automatically updated to v0.9)

I went on the IRC help channel, but they said they can't help. I did, however, hang out in there and noticed a lot of people complaining about the same issue.
