[MCL-438] The new launcher is broken

The Launcher is stuck on "Default" mode ... I am forced to play the latest snapshot only. I want to play 1.5.2 so I can rejoin my servers.

I cannot find a working download of 1.5.2 version, and the old launcher no longer automatically updates my game.

I found it, found the workaround. Thanks for that.

Now, having said that:

Your search function is totally useless. It's always useless, and always will be... please stop telling people to use it first.
I searched several different ways to find "Launcher problem, bug, fix, etc" and NOTHING came up. That's why I made a new report.
