P.S , this happens only when I set my profile version to 1.2.5. Same goes for some old versions like 1.3.2, 1.5.1, 1.6.4. Technically, this happens below Minecraft version 1.7.2 AND below.

This is a technical support issue; this site is for bug reports only. For technical support please use the Mojang Support Center.
Besides that, older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported. We are currently only accepting bugs found in the official release 1.10.2.
I have tried to delete .minecraft folder, disabled my Anti-virus and Firewall, and restarting my PC several times.
I tried to create a folder named "17" in the .minecraft\assets\objects folder, as I noticed that the folder "17" does not exist in there. But when I rename the "New Folder" to "17", it doesn't allow me to do that. It says "Error 0x80070103: No more data is available."
And so I thought that there was not enough space in my hard disk, so I created the New Folder. didn't rename it to "17", and placed a 10kb text file into the New Folder. This time, nothing popped out. It allowed me to place that file into the folder, but not rename a simple folder to "17".
