"Unable to locate Java runtime" in the NEW launcher?!

Bug Summary:

I downloaded the new launcher from Reddit and ran it, expecting it to just run Minecraft.

What happened INSTEAD was I got an error "Unable to locate Java runtime", and if I click "More details" I get this:

Unable to locate the Java runtime.
Error details: The system cannot find the path specified
Filename on disk: javaw.exe
Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_51\bin\javaw.exe
Exists: false

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Literally press the launch button on any version.
2. Error.
3. Rage.

Help would be appreciated Mojang.

BTW, isn't that weird? Because didn't you guys get rid of Java? If so, then why is it even bothering me about it?
