Every time I hit play it says "the version you are trying to play inherits properties from an unknown version".

Have you tried making a new profile?

I'm having the same problem

Same thing happens to me, I tried to add new. I use laby mod usually but That didn't work. so I thought it was a little bug but I cant download Vanilla 1.8.9. Please Help. It says Unable to save download. Also please add an option for the older launcher, I enjoy that one a lot more then the new one.

I have created new profile

1. open the laucher
2.click on 1.8.8 Labymod and press play
3. the it pops up saying 'the version you are trying to play inherits properties from an unknown version'
For Windows 10:
1. Open or Click Windows Menu.
2. Choose the Settings menu to display all contents.
3. Select and click on System.
4. Under Windows menu, please click on Apps and features.
5. Select ByteFence from the list.
7. Click on Uninstall button to remove ByteFence.
For Windows 8 Users
1. Click on bottom left corner of the screen.
2. Click on Control Panel..
3. Click Uninstall a Program.
4. Select ByteFence from the list and click Uninstall button.
For Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP
1. Click on Start menu, then Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
3. In the ‘Currently Installed Programs’ window, select ByteFence and then click Change/Remove
