Game directory not saved in the new Windows Launcher

Setting a game directory in the launcher 2.0.806 (lanucher options, selecting a profile, turning the game dir switch to green, copy/pasting a dir and pressing save) WON'T save the game directory. (The edit box is empty when returning) -> the game can't find the game directory and won't start.
Since the launcher can't follow junctions (linked dirs, unlike the old one) this is a problem. (Can't play with a tiny ssd drive and a huge MC dir)

I'm aware of the MCL-5047 issue that might be a duplicate, but the report a bug link takes me here in the launcher, so I'm guessing since this is already forced on us (release) you take bug reports here.

Thank you for your kind help.

This is the wrong project, MCL (Minecraft Launcher) would have been correct.

Probably duplicates MCL-5436 and MCL-5440.

Delete the issue please, I don't really care any more. I'll play something else.

Issues cannot be deleted.

You can try using the old java launcher by downloading the Linux / Other launcher. Then you have to start it, get the launcher.jar file from the %appdata% folder and delete the Minecraft.jar file. That way you won't get a message to upgrade your launcher.
