[MCL-6016] my launcher doesnt work

I Dont know what is happening i downloaded to old minecraft launcher because the 2017 one crashes my game and doesnt let me join servers i have bought so many things on my minecraft servers i play and i dont want my money to go to waste i really dont know what to do and whenever i use the old 1 it says my graphics drivers are outdated and i dont know what that means please help me

This may be caused by broken Nvidia graphics drivers.
Please check if the hotfix of MC-112780 fixes that probkem.

it lets me on minecraft but i cant join servers, it keeps freezing when i try to join a server and says Downloading Terrain and stays there what do i do?
