1.0.4 breaks the authentication system

Starting in 1.0.4, the launcher's new auth system no longer works. Even if it says "Play" (indicating that your access token is valid, which in 1.0.3 it usually isn't), it logs you in offline. The only way to get it to work is to manually retype your credentials every time you log in. The new auth system in 1.0.3 was decent albeit buggy at times, this has gotten to the point that I want to quit Minecraft.

Use the old launcher, log in once, it will create lastlogin.
The new launcher will read lastlogin as long as the new authentication system isn't implemented.

The new auth system was working in 1.0.3. It seems to have been reverted in 1.0.4.

Is this still a concern in the current Launcher version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

This is fixed in 1.0.8.

Thanks for the update.

Actually, this is a duplicate of MCL-602, and although it is better than in 1.0.4, it apparently still exists.
