[MCL-6407] Since last update on mac OSx

Minecraft automatically updated before start up about 2 weeks.

Since then ... when intitiating program launch from the installed icon

We get a failure box with long text... I will add later to this report

How do we revert to previous launcher ?

Or has the launcher been fixed ...

At start, nothing happens or a failure dialog box with text apears.

Is it possible to delete minecraft and start over ? how to turn off automatic upgrades....

What is the resolution to the problem ?

Calling it a duplicate does not solve mine craft not starting on my computer ….
