Pressing Play Crashes Launcher

Whenever I press Play on the launcher, whether its my modded 1.7.10 profile, my 1.8.9 Multiplayer profile or my Snapshot profile, the launcher crashes and says:

Error
Unable to locate Java runtime
Show more details
Get further assistance

I cannot press Show more Details because a split second later, the Launcher crashes and sys:

Minecraft Launcher has stopped Working:
A Problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program to notify you if a solution is available.

I try troubleshooting the program, but all it did was give it a white screen whenever it tried to change its Compatibility Settings.

I can't run it as administrator either.
