Please attach the crash report. If it's not an actual game crash, but it just fails to launch, please attach a screenshot.
This may be a duplicate of MCL-5443, if the error is "inherits properties from an unknown version".
Note that bugs within modded versions are not supported here (you must contact the mod developer), only bugs within the way that the launcher launches versions (which does include mod profiles). You haven't given enough information to determine which one it is.
