minecraft won't lauch

the minecraft launcher will start and download all the files as it should, it closes for a bit as if it were starting the game but then reopens with the message "An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience" and the game doesn't start. It has no crash log.
