[MCL-7942] Launches crashes offline

That happens when you start the launcher offline when playing singleplayer.
It's seen it always checks for update all the time.

It's version 1.6.79 but I can't find it when reporting.

You're using the old launcher. This version is, as far as I know, not supported anymore.

How could be possible the launcher 1.6.79 is older than 1.6.76?

The game updated to 1.6.79.

Will the new launcher work with windows vista?

Or the java version of the launcher is not supported anymore?

To be fair, I don't know for sure. You can try the new launcher out, of course. It can be downloaded from the minecraft.net homepage.

The program asks me to repair or uninstall the game.

Yeah, you have to uninstall the old launcher first, and then install the new version.

I tried it but the game still download the same launcher.
