[MCL-7955] Launcher Stuck at Unpacking ....0.5-natives-windows.jar

Launcher Stuck at Unpacking ....0.5-natives-windows.jar. Last log entry always 'Installing versions!'.
Minecraft game doesn't launch. Re-installing works but only once, then this same issue re-appears.

I'm seeing the same issue.
launcher log attached.

It covers a number of different game versions, the last launch was with debug turned on (I think)
