[MCL-8448] The new launcher freezes on the mojang screen

It will never load, i left it open for 1 and a half hours. I tried using the launchers older version for a while, but it Doesnt show skins only steve and alex and it bugs me so much. i tried everything and it still will never work! btw im on 1.12.1

I found if you do control alt delete and go to task manager then delete the minecraft launcher task it will get minecraft to load
