Launcher gives me a black screen

I recently was able to purchase a refurbished computer, fingers crossed hoping it was fine, everything works on it, It's much better than what I had, but one problem. Every time I launch Minecraft when the main window should pop up all I get is black screen, after a few seconds I can hear the Minecraft music playing, and if I move my mouse in random spots and click I hit the selection button(sound made) but I get no picture. I've uninstalled re-installed, repaired. I've tried every available compatibility, troubleshooter, and settings. I've watched a lot of videos on how to fix it, but still no go.

Funny thing is my computer came with mincraft for windows 10 on it, it works fine. I'm guessing the problem is something simple that keeps the screen black and I'm missing it, or I have a coplicated issue that not even Notch could fix. I just don't wanna have to go back to my old computer and my amazing 2 fps just to get my build on .
