Changing the language from the dropdown in the top left to US English, from Canadian English, changed the launcher language to Hindi, as you can see in the screenshot below.

You actually selected Hindi, but it's mislabeled as being American English. The 'real' English (US) translation can be selected a bit above in the dropdown menu.
Translations are managed on Crowdin, the language is already labeled correctly there. (That's why I resolved this report as invalid.) As soon as the translations are updated again, this will be fixed.
