Launcher wont launch minecraft

So a few day ago i got the new launcher and it was just working fine, then i added some mods and the launcher kept working like normal, but a few day later the launcher didn't launch minecraft. I was in 1.10.2 forge nothing would come up but it was there because every time i went to click play it would come up with a message say "Minecraft is already launched" but it was invisible or something so i tried changing versions. I went to 1.12.2 i don't have forge for this version. So when i launched this version the mojang thing came up (you can see what came up in the attached files) but it just stayed there and it would say "(not responding)" but it wouldn't start up the game at all.

I fixed the problem by reinstalling it but when i went back to the new launcher it still did the same thing so i have to use the old launcher to be able to play. I hope you can fix this because i really like the new launcher better.
