'my world' cant be opened, Bad File Number

Down loaded to a tablet last week which got broken, purchased a new one and reinstalled from Play Store, now I receive the error message
'My World' can't be opened - Bad File Number.

Please can you tell me how to fix this error, I've looked through similar errors and they all seem to be resolved, but I can't see how.
