The mending enchantment on my tools is not working. My armor and elytra are good, but my pickaxe, sword, axe, and other tools of the sort will not repair as I get exp. This has been happening for a while and i'm getting tired of having to get netherite ingots to fix my tools instead of being able to use the mending. PLEASE FIX THIS!!! It is legit the worst bug i have seen in this game, and if this doesn't get fixed soon i am going to lose my mind.

If you would like to add a vote and any extra information to the main ticket it would be appreciated.
You should be able to mend your "held" tool if you take off any armor/elytra that also has mending on it.
