When joining a friend's world with an already-installed add-on, you are required to download the entire add-on again when the add-on is updated on your friend's world

I like to make add-ons. I usually play with my friends on my big add-on that I created. They are required to download it and join my world, etc. etc. When we find a bug, I go right ahead and fix it in the add-on, and change the add-on version to a higher number (updating it, if you will). Then, when I go back onto my world, my friends are required to download the entire pack again, rather than just that small update. It's really frustrating, and I hope this report gets recognized.

If you don't want entire add-on to be downloaded, fix bugs not by updating existing add-on, but by creating new one with just this fix, and install it "on top" of your existing one - basically creating incremental update.

If you just update main add-on, expecting Minecraft to just download "small update" is unrealistic. How would Minecraft know what changed between old version your friends have and your current version without actually downloading the new version?
