In a multiplayer world we created a portal to the nether, we entered the portal and as the site of appearance did not convince us, we decided to do another a little further. Upon entering the new portal we appeared in the nether in the same as before.
Now let's make a portal where we do appear in the nether in the same place.
How do I solve it???

Travelling eight blocks in the overworld transfers you one in the nether, nether portals that spawn within a certain radius of each other are instead combined. I don't know the exact radius. How far away did you put the second nether portal?
