Double chest issue and villager issue

When my villagers go to sleep, they float out of their beds and go across the map. With the double chests, I have items in all the slots and when I save the game and come back to the world and check the double chests, the items underneath row three in double chests disappear and never come back and it is absolutely annoying when I go trade with villagers for their emeralds, and the emeralds disappear when I put them in the rows underneath row 3 in double chests..
