Hello im making a jumpscare contraption but when i test my pisto the sticky pisto do not work the slime do not stick in the sticky piston when i unpowered the sticky piston

Hello my problem is when i retract the sicky piston the slime block is not pull by the sticky piston and the bug only work under y 1 because im in flat and im making trap so i need to put piton above bedrock

Just checked on my phone and it works fine.
What is the block behind the slime block - is it another slime block? If so then this works correctly - this other slime block is connected to blocks that can't be moved (because there are blocks below them), so piston doesn't pull the slime block.
