Bubble Collumns not Clipping Through honey block when its a transparent block

Someone showed me a technique where you can clip your boat through honey blocks to activate the bubble collumns. They were on Xbox. I am on an IPad and doscovered rather quickly that this function didn’t work. I’m not sure if its a bug or not, and since I couldn’t find any mention of it here I decided to report it.
