[MCPE-105898] I updated minecraft and it downgraded its version to an older version.

I opened minecraft and it told me to update, and when it was done I saw that my version went form the most recent (1.16.7) to an old version (1.16.1). Now when I try to join my friend it says im not on the right version. And it wont let me update it.

1.16.100 is the latest version, it's not a downgrade. All of the digits in the version numbers matter, it's not like decimal numbers. You will have to wait for all of your friends to update.
