After the 1.16.100 update, all the villagers in my trading hall sleep on the floor. They slept in beds normally before the update. Their orientation on the floor is random and usually on a diagonal (i.e., they do not appear to be sleeping aligned to invisible "beds").

On XBox One S....inconsistent visible/invisible/missing/reappearing villagers. Four librarians in a set space, sometimes all four are there, can go away, return and there will be only 1, or 2, 4 or none, rinse, repeat. When there, sleeping has been seen with heads in lecterns, not on bed. A separate villager was sleeping on the floor skewered by a sign next to its bed.
