There is this streamer I like to watch and play with in the same world, but he plays on ps4, before I could join his world easily but now when I try to join his worlds it just says Outdated Client. He also can't join my worlds either. It effects version 1.16.40 but there is no option for 1.16.40

Either you or the streamer is on version 1.16.40, and the other on 1.16.100 (but it is likely you that is on 1.16.40). Both of you should update your game to the newest version and see if that helps.
